Kap Sno-Rovers Recipient of OFSC President's Award ~Club of the Year 2000~

 
The Kap Sno-Rovers Snowmobile Club was awarded with the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) President's Award for outstanding achievements at the OFSC Annual General Meeting held in Toronto over the weekend of September 16th, 2000. 

There are in excess of 280 clubs in the OFSC and this year marked the most significant number of entries for the top award.  Kap Sno-Rovers has been a member of the OFSC for the past 10 years and for 34 years the Club and its volunteer members have provided an exceptional trail network for snowmobiling enthusiasts.

Sno-Rovers made application for the award and in its submission cited the 125 kilometers of trails in the Kapuskasing area, the trail and other improvements during the past year, permit sales, fundraising, community involvement and partnership, it's safety initiatives including the "Project Speed Warden", Club events and service to members.

"Kap Sno-Rovers is a well-balanced snowmobile club which offers some of the best trails in the province, offers its members many services and social events, is a major partner in the area's winter tourism and make trail safety a priority," said the Sno-Rovers president Tony Tremblay who attended the Toronto annual meeting.  "All members of the Sno-Rovers and the committee can be collectively be proud of this award."
